The University of Utah (UU) approved changes to the General Education (GE) requirement structure effective Fall 2024. Students who start at the UU in Fall 2024 and forward are required to complete the New GE requirements. Students admitted and enrolled prior to Fall 2024 may still satisfy the Old GE requirements if they graduate by Summer 2028 or sooner; they may also elect to migrate to the New GE requirements.
